Daniel M. Bell

Chief Executive Officer, Aero 3, Inc. & President, Hemico Inc.  Prior to assuming the leadership role at Aero 3 (Hemico Incorporated and AeroRepair Corp), Dan was the founder and Managing Director of the Weinberg & Bell Group, a Cleveland, Ohio based private investment and management firm.  He was responsible for the firm’s operations and was actively involved in working with the management of portfolio companies, setting strategic direction and financial goals, and was the liaison between portfolio company management and the co-sponsors of WBG investments. 

 Prior to WBG, Dan was General Manager of the Mexico and Central American/Caribbean region for the Kroll-O’Gara Company, the global leader in business intelligence and investigations and commercial and military mobile security.  Dan had full operational responsibility for the manufacturing division and led the organization to the market leader position, producing record sales and operating income in the highly competitive armored vehicle market.  Before joining Kroll-O’Gara, Dan was President of Usamex Trading Corporation, an export/import company he founded in 1989. During his tenure, the company became the market leader in the importation of advanced industrial coatings in the Mexican marketplace for RPM, Inc, a $4 billion specialty chemicals company.  During this time, Dan successfully managed the company during the most difficult economic period in Mexico’s modern history.

Dan is a graduate of The National Law Center at the George Washington University and is licensed to practice law in the States of California and Ohio.  Prior to law school, Dan graduated cum laude with high honors from Kenyon College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science.  Mr. Bell is fluent in Spanish and resided in Mexico City for twelve (12) years prior to returning to Cleveland, Ohio in 2002

Al Sproul

Vice President of Quality, DMIR, Hemico Inc.  Al is an aviation professional with over 28 years of experience. He graduated from East Coast Technical School, where he earned his Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License. Al has worked in all aspects of aircraft maintenance, from production to quality control. He has over 15 years of airline experience, as an airline A&P mechanic, where he worked his way up to senior management positions including Chief Inspector and VP of Maintenance. He has hands on airline experience with wide range of aircraft and programs from initial certifications to the needs of an aging fleet, in both in the regional and commercial airline environment.
